  • Our Service has a base price of $50 per person with a $500 minimum spend. The meal price does not include gratuity. A gratuity of 18% is automatically added for your chef. Our services are cash only. There is no deposit required, all payments are due the day of the event.
    * Travel greater than 30 minutes from Middletown, DE to the event address is subject to a travel fee that will be quoted in advance.

  • The chef will arrive at or slightly before the reservation time. Our set up process only takes a few minutes.

  • We do not set up or provide tables, chairs or your place settings. Our chef and his assistant will provide the grill, food, sake and the best part… ENTERTAINMENT!

  • Because we cook on a grill, we can only cook outside. This includes terraces, balconies, patios, and in your yard. Although you can set your party up inside, the chef will cook outside! However, your guests will get the most enjoyment from the chef’s entertainment if they can be seated in view of the chef.

  • No, the food prepared by our chefs does not contain any nuts or sesame products. However, it is possible that additional appetizers you may order may contain sesame seeds and/or oil. Please notify the booking agent of any food allergy you or your guests may have.

  • Yes, we have served many customers with special dietary needs. Just inform your chef or his assistant of any special dietary restrictions a guest may have so that meal can be cooked separate.

  • We can provide tofu to meet Vegetarian and Vegan needs. The price per person does not change. We will supplement their dishes with additional food such as extra veggies, salad, and rice.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to use, prepare, or serve food that is not from our commercial kitchen due to insurance requirements. Of course, you can serve or provide your own food items to your guests.

  • All of our bookings are currently done through our website - If you are going to be 30+ guests, please book two reservations for the same date and time, so we can send two chefs and two grills. There are no extra fees for an additional chef.

  • Please let us know before the day of your reservation if there is a change in the number of meals. Once your reservation date arrives, we are unable to make changes since your planned order has been packed to bring to your party. The chef will prepare the meals for your no-show guests and will be plated for you to enjoy later. As for last minute add-on guests, they may or may not be accommodated since the chef usually brings food portions based on your reservation.

  • The chef and his assistant will serve an iceberg lettuce salad with our housemade carrot ginger dressing (or housemade yum-yum sauce), fried rice (with egg and vegetables), choice of two proteins (choose from steak, chicken, salmon, shrimp, scallops, tofu, filet mignon*, and lobster* for each guest in advance) prepared hibachi style, and hibachi vegetables. Yum-yum sauce and ginger sauce is available for dipping. In addition, the chef will serve squirts of sake (Japanese rice wine) to guests 21 and older. For younger guests and those avoiding alcohol, the chef will serve squirts of “baby sake” (lemonade). The chef will also entertain your guests making balloon hats and animals.

  • We have served many My Hibachi Parties and can offer a few suggestions. Provide sturdy plates because we serve moist hot food and lots of it! Basic paper plates just don’t hold up. Remember to have a separate salad bowl/plate for each guest. Arrange your tables and seating in a large “U” shape so that all of your guests will be facing the chef to watch his skills and antics. And provide take-away boxes/containers for your guests that cannot finish their meal.
